An entirely different way to travel

Hi Guyz,

If you have still not traveled in Delhi Metro feeder buses, you are missing
something. Believe me! Traveling in Delhi Metro feeder buses is a unique
experience. It is very different from the experience that you get while
traveling in rickety RTVs.

Some of the good points about Delhi Metro feeder buses are:

  1. They are operated by Delhi
Metro. The conductor and driver are always in uniform. The conductor just
does not keep waiting for passengers infinitely. The moment all passengers
at a bus stop are in, the conductor immediately instructs the driver to
keep the bus moving. As a result, you reach your destination early.
  2. The driver follows all the
traffic regulations and just does not whiz past the red light.
  3. The seats are horizontally
facing. As a result, there is ample leg space for standing passengers.
  4. The best part is the tickets.
Amaze yourself by seeing tickets being printed from a small vertical
machine. The conductor does not need to punch the tickets.

However, as is the popular saying, everything has some
bad points also. The one bad point which I found about these buses is that the
seat near the driver has not been properly designed. Although this seat is
meant for 3 people, it is very difficult for 3 people to sit there. You will
have to place your legs on the bonnet which means discomfort.

Ride the Delhi Metro feeder bus and rejuvenate yourself :)
